Winning Streak! Big Idea Wins 3 GlobalTrend Awards

We’re thrilled to announce Big Idea won three GlobalTrend Marketing Awards for our work with Cardinal Hayes High School, Anguilla Tourism Board and Antigua and Barbuda Tourism.

While we’ve worked on projects with clients in many different industries and we’re always honored to be recognized, our first and foremost goal is to deliver creative excellence that makes a difference for our clients. And we’re proud to say that, time and again, we continue to achieve that goal.

Okay, okay…speech over. As the saying goes in the ad industry: “It’s all about the work.” So let’s get to it.

Anguilla Tourism Campaign — GlobalTrend Award Quest Winner

To get them thinking about the best-kept secret in the Caribbean, we had to do something different. Our angle: Tap into deeper emotions with the #1 Island campaign. To do it, we launched a full-on digital campaign to show people Anguilla is a place where they can escape the crowds and enjoy some of the world’s most luxurious resorts — and show them why Travel + Leisure named Anguilla the #1 Island in the Caribbean. Cardinal Hayes Magazine — GlobalTrend Award Ascent Winner

Cardinal Hayes High School is in one of the toughest school districts in the U.S. Few students graduate and even fewer go on to college. Cardinal Hayes is the exception with 98% of students going on to college. To further their mission, Cardinal Hayes aimed to inspire donations so they could continue making a difference in the community. But when funding was pulled, they had to act fast to keep their doors open. To help, we designed beautiful magazines to highlight Cardinal Hayes impact in the community, revive school spirit and inspire alumni to support the school’s fundraising efforts. The project successfully helped solidify the school’s future for the long term. (See the work)

Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Campaign — GlobalTrend Award Ascent Winner

We have sides to our personalities we don’t always get to explore at home. But on vacation, we’re released from our daily routines and free to discover new sides of ourselves. Maybe for a week, we become underwater explorers or action photographers. That’s the strategy we built the Beach Creatures campaign on. The result? A 5,672% ROI on campaign spend in just 9 months, a 14% increase in tourism from the U.S. compared to 2017 and the highest U.S. tourism numbers in the past 10 years. (See the work)
