Design for the Greater Good. LatinoJustice PRLDEF

Big Idea created the case for support to promote the LatinoJustice PRLDEF first-ever capital campaign. Since 2000, the Latino population has grown 53%. Today the work of LatinoJustice is critical and essential to protecting this diverse and growing community. The case for support elegantly presents both the history and future of this important organization. The Securing the Dream capital campaign aims to secure $5 million in multi-year pledges toward long-term goals. See more images of the project below.

LatinoJustice PRLDEF (Puerto Rican Legal Defense and Education Fund), founded in 1972, is a national civil rights leader dedicated to protecting the rights and opportunities of Latinos.

Through impact litigation to defend the civil and human rights of Latinos living and working in the U.S.; LatinoJustice cases have helped Latinos access educational, employment and housing opportunities, as well as voting rights. Our legal work has also defended Latinos against unlawful law enforcement tactics and hate crimes. Pipeline education programs provide Latino students with access and resources to pursue a law degree and other higher education that paves the way for professional success and community leadership.

The capital campaign goals support expanded operations in the Southeast, retiring the mortgage on the NYC headquarters, and an increase cash reserves for the future.
