Antigua and Barbuda is a dual-island nation located in the heart of the Caribbean. 365 beaches, temperatures in the 70s and 80s and a vibrant nightlife have made travel and tourism the main driver of the nation’s economy.
The Challenge: In the summer of 2017, Antigua and its beautiful sister island Barbuda were caught in the destructive path of Hurricane Irma. Heavy news coverage surrounding the storm led to a general perception that the Caribbean was closed for business. While Barbuda was devastated, Antigua was fortunately still welcoming travelers.
The Solution: We needed a campaign that made it clear—Antigua is open. But equally as important, we needed to ensure we didn’t ignore the situation on Barbuda.
